Yoga therapy takes an approach that considers the whole person and works specifically with addressing individual needs, aims and requirements.
There is a strong relationship nurtured between the mind and body which offers a practical route that can reduce challenging symptoms and ingrained patterns & behaviours.
In a yoga therapy session you will be asked about goals and to share as much and or as little as you are comfortable to about your health + history.
There is exploration of what has contributed to your current experience with care & support and at a pace that provides time to steadily process and progress.
Consideration of all that you are facing is woven into yoga therapy along with lifestyle advice given as and when appropriate.
Practices are provided on a prescriptive basis. This means that what is practiced during sessions and given as a home practice is totally specific to your circumstance, symptoms and goals and can therefore vary from one session to the next.
