A gentle chair based yoga class for chronic health. The intention is to create a safe space for exploring sensation, understanding your relationship to it and learning skills to manage your pain. In this friendly, supportive and welcoming group, there is no right way to practice, only the way that suits you and your body on the day.

In Person at Sacred Story

Exploring the breath, movements and postures to invigorate the systems of the body and bringing back a sense of balance to the mind.
A blend of strong, gentle and restorative poses.
5 students maximum.

Soft, slow, fluid + rhythmic movements to unwind in every sense. This is a somatics class and tends to be floor based. Mostly lying down and with little props. Recommended for everyone and those who wishing to restore ease, reduce burnout, experiencing inflammation, possibly pain and or wishing to rebuild agency, trust and connection to their body. A time to reconnect and unite all aspects of the self. A gentle yet profound practice.
4 students maximum.

In person at St Richards Community Centre, Hangleton
1 hour
This class is for the local community of Hangleton & Knoll. It explores yoga through postures, breath and meditation to expand into mind and body whilst building strength slowly. The focus is always on listening to your body and moving at your own pace.

1.5 hours
Remedial. A strengthening and grounding practice. Exercising careful postural alignment that is right for you this class uses props to inform the body of where space + steadiness can be cultivated. This class will often feature some ‘somatic’ style movements + flows though mostly postures are held aiding concentration and moving one towards meditation. Helpful for those working with injuries, wanting to improve posture and moving stuck energy on.
Herbal tea will be served after.
5 students maximum.
Suitable for those with experience. If new to yoga classes and would like to attend please book a regular one to one first.
